Mechanical design and manufacturing have been conventional areas of development for any product. As technology has evolved and advanced, the requirements have become more and more stringent, raising the interest in the complexity of products to be designed and manufactured multifold. In recent years, several exciting futuristic technologies have been developed and counted to the grandeur of the traditional areas of design and manufacturing. These next-generation technologies make it possible to design more accurately in fewer iterations and manufacture more complex parts with high precision and less material/energy wastage and carbon emissions. The International Conference on Next Generation Technologies: Design and Manufacturing (ICNGT 2024), hosted by IIT Madras, provides a forum to discuss diverse aspects of designing and manufacturing processes holistically.

The authors may choose to submit their full-length manuscript for publication (as a special issue) in the following Journals (without any additional charges). The selection policy will follow the publisher's guidelines.
